The Albino 2014 spring summer collection evolves in the dualism between masculine and feminine fashion: The starting masculine element is the shirt, of classic or reinvented style, redefined in its volumes and graphic design but always in pure and impeccable cotton poplin. The feminine side, instead, is centred on the fluidity of the silk jersey that envelops the body with smooth and natural fabric held together by big safety pins.
There isn’t Albino’s typical rigour but a joyful eclecticism in mixing different styles. Polka-dot graphics in shirts, wallpaper printing in dresses, organza lace that becomes thick and substantial for more structured dresses. Also the dinner suit changes proportions just like the bomber jacket in crude silk faille and they both become softer and more feminine.
Regarding the colour palette: in addition to the graphics in black and white there is the classic light blue of masculine shirts.
