SPRING/SUMMER 09Rigor, sensuality, and virtuosity. Albino’s Spring/Summer 2009 Collection expresses a new femininity, caressed by soft draped pieces and defined by elaborate constructions. The attention focuses on the back, scrupulously exposed, outlined by sensual crossed straps or geometrical knots. The outlook is that of a Couturier, who loves his muse for the strength and the gracefulness that characterize her. Classical items stolen from the men’s universe emphasize her strong character, never relinquishing her glamour and her feminine side. Crepe, in graphic tones of black and pearl, gives fluidity to cone-shaped pants with high waist and dresses. Jackets, with masculine lapels, uncover extremely low-cut décolleté and alternate with the delicate dresses of ethereal silk gauze. Shapes, with high and marked waists, are coloured with powdery, fresh tones, from citrine to a fog shade, and from tourmaline to grape. Prints include peacock and Déco feathers, Gaudi-like tulips and liberty-style floral motifs, contrasting dramatically with polka dots of various sizes and with exuberant prints of undulating patterns. |
